Free and yet for nothing

Classical music is elitist!’ say people who don’t know what they’re talking about. That’s why the concert on September 27 is free for the underprivileged*. Others pay only €14.95, including refreshments. That’s nothing, or very little, for a beautiful, romantic, and delightful concert in a location that is more beautiful than the Concertgebouw.

Saturday afternoon, September 27, 2:30 p.m., Posthoornkerk, Amsterdam (opposite Central Station), see also: Schwanengesang

P.S. My book about Schwanengesang is coming soon.

P.P.S. Free and yet for nothing is the title of a book by Rik Zaal from the time when music lessons were still given and children could still sing (almost an octave higher than now).
